About BWSA

BWSA is an organizational development firm based in White Rock, British Columbia, Canada whose specialized focus is,

"helping emerging and established leaders and teams build the capacity to think and act systemically, adapt and self-organize to sustain high levels of performance in these times of complexity and uncertainty".

Leaders and the teams they help build and manage face two significant challenges that detract from high performance; ambiguity and conflict. Achieving the requisite coherence and coordination that teams require to be responsible and accountable and the capacity leaders and team members require to deal with the dynamics of change and uncertainty affecting teamwork is the essence of what's required in maintaining high performance.

Through leadership coaching/mentoring, structured dialogue processes and workshops facilitated by BWSA, leaders and team members have achieved turnaround performance and sustained success in dealing with ambiguity and in effectively managing dysfunctional team conflict. This outcome is reflected in teams and leaders that have established clarity about who they are, what they are attempting to do and how they want and need to work together to achieve their shared intentions.

Built on the foundational work of J.G. Bennett (i.e. Systematics) and the applied methodology developed by Dr. Richard N. Knowles (i.e. Process Enneagram ©), BWSA takes a 'systemic approach' in helping leaders and teams address issues and challenges related to their work environment. BWSA views leaders, teams and organizations as 'living systems' which are constantly interacting, self-referencing and co-creating in relation to their respective environments. Understanding the emergent, dynamical, interdependent and fractal nature of complex living systems is the cornerstone of our work. Complimenting the application of this underlying theoretical foundation is BWSA's extensive practical leadership experience in senior level administrative and strategic planning roles dealing with organizational change and complexity.
